During our Spring Training trip last year, Charlie Manuel joined us at one of our events for a Meet and Greet and Q & A session. Many people told us this was the one of the main highlights of the trip and Charlie loved it too. Charlie Manuel will be back for our Spring Training 2023 Trip!!! This will be another private event for Philly Sports Trips travelers only. Everyone will have the opportunity to meet the man who managed the Phillies for nine years and who led the team to unbelievable success including the World Series championship in 2008.
This is our fourth year in a row running this trip and we are adding more value each and every year. Come join us this upcoming March to escape the cold Philly weather and watch our Philadelphia Phillies squad down in Clearwater Beach! This year’s trip will be the best yet and we are excited to spend St. Patrick’s Day back in Clearwater with our PST crew. Both of our hotels are absolutely incredible, each with private beach access and a beautiful pool.
There are plenty of great bars/restaurants in the surrounding downtown area. Pier 60 is right around the corner and is a great place to see live performers and do some outdoor shopping. We have LOTS of recommendations for your free time which will be included in the itinerary. Our on-site coordinators will also assist with anything you need during the trip and will help you get the most out of your time in Clearwater Beach.
Philly Sports Trips has your entire vacation planned for you including direct round trip flights from the Philadelphia Airport to Tampa. This package includes direct flights and airport transfers, 5 night stay at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort right near all the action, a St. Patrick’s Day party with food and drinks, a dinner party on a private yacht, trolley and bus transfers to the games, and group tickets to two Spring Training games. We will be attending the Phillies vs. Toronto Blue Jays game on Friday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day) and the Phillies vs. Baltimore Orioles on Monday, March 20th.
We have also decided to upgrade from the booze cruise we have done in past years to a dinner party on a private yacht with appetizers, full entree, and premium open bar all included. Our group will also enjoy live entertainment as we cruise along the inland waterways of the Clearwater Harbor.
