We traveled up to Yankee Stadium in the summer of 2021 and the trip was a huge hit. Before we had the official “Philly Sports Trips” name, our team ran a bus trip to Yankee Stadium for Game 1 of the 2009 World Series. We brought 100 Phillies fans to New York for an epic Cav’s Catering tailgate, won the game, but obviously lost that series. This will be our third trip taking fans to the Bronx and we can’t wait.
Join us for our first Phillies road trip of the year! We are headed up to New York for a great interleague matchup. Yankee Stadium is only 2 hours away, and we will get there in no time! We will be attending the Philadelphia Phillies vs. the New York Yankees on Monday, April 3rd @7:05PM. We leave on charter buses from the South Philadelphia stadiums and have tickets for the group to watch the Phillies take on the Bronx Bombers. It’s time to put in the PTO request for Monday, April 3rd. Opening Day for the Phillies is not until Thursday, April 6th so everyone who joins us on this trip, gets live baseball a few days early.
Philly Sports Trips is not “just your ride to the game”. We could provide just a sandwich and a bus ride, but that’s NOT our style. We are all about the tailgate experience and this year’s tailgate party will be amazing. First of all, we do not go anywhere without DJ Nick who turns all of our bus trips into a party. Cav’s Catering award winning food always blows people away when they try it for the first time. Do we need to mention the mussels, pasta, filet-mignon sandwiches, craft beer, and mixed drinks? Everyone will also receive one of those highly coveted Philly Sports Trips’ 2023 T-shirts.
Our tailgate will be in the parking lot in Philadelphia before departure to New York. We leave on charter buses from the South Philadelphia stadiums. After our bus ride up to New York, we will enter the stadium and sit in our group seats to watch the Phillies take on the Yankees. Everyone will be back home to Philly on Monday night after the game. This is an all-inclusive event that Phillies’s fans of all ages will enjoy.
